Embroiderers Guild

I will be giving an online talk for the Embroiderers Guild on June 3 at 19:00 GMT.

I'm going to talk about the various ways I've evolved over the years to bring to life the stories I want to tell using the fabric and stitches I love.

It will involve a canter through some of my Dreams of Amarna embroideries, the piece I did for the Embroiderers Guild "100 Hearts" project in 2018, and even some of the Medieval Movers and Shakers, and I hope very much it will give you an opportunity to take some of my methods as the basis for your own.

Tickets are available from Eventbrite here.

I am also preparing a book and an exhibition of the embroidered panels of my Dreams of Amarna, inspired by the book "Nefertiti Lived Here", written by Mary Chubb.
